Insurance where it counts: new solutions to new risks

Insurtech companies are emerging at the rate of over one a day and we are all self-publishing now. Twitter and Linkedin pump out real-time updates. InsTech London is pleased to announce the formation of the Global Insurtech Alliance, co-founded with first members  FinTechNZInsurTech Australia, and InsurTech Asia.

The fundamental purpose of the Alliance is to share ideas, analysis and insights, work together on events, make introductions for travelling members and generally help promote wider geographic interest in InsurTech.  Insurance is a global business and there needs to be a global InsurTech community to reflect that.  The intention is to quickly expand membership beyond the founding four so we would love to hear from our peers in other countries who are interested in joining. Please contact us at [email protected] or [email protected] for more information.

Robin Merttens added “We’re delighted to be part of this initiative and thank our new colleagues in Australia and New Zealand for taking the lead.  The creation of the Alliance is a reflection of the fact that InsurTech has evolved beyond local communities into a global ecosystem. One of the key roles of Instech London has always been to create connections between our members and their peers and partners both in the UK and in other countries. The Alliance will help us with that as well as enhance the power of the InsurTech network. We will be ignoring Brexit and extending the hand of friendship to our European counterparts in the next few weeks.”
